Even six years later, I still love watching our wedding film. The colours, the sound, the atmosphere and all the little moments come together so perfectly. Every time we watch it, we can feel the magic of our wedding all over again.
Looking back, having you there on our wedding day was one of the most valuable decisions we made. Especially during that unusual time in the pandemic, when our parents and even my maid of honour couldn’t celebrate with us, it meant so much to have the day preserved – not only for us, but also for everyone who wasn’t able to be there.
And that’s exactly what you managed to do. Nothing loud or staged, just an incredible amount of sensitivity, calmness and such a special eye for the little moments. You never feel like you’re being “filmed”. You work so quietly in the background, while somehow always being there at exactly the right moment.
Even today, I’m especially moved by the beginning of the film, with the atmosphere of the morning and the words of our registrar. And the fact that both of our children were able to be there makes these memories even more precious to us now. Thank you for preserving this day so beautifully for our family.

That dedication, that willingness and the amount of heart you put into your work are so incredibly special and anything but something to take for granted.One small but heartfelt tip for future brides: Definitely add the full ceremony film. Really. Salome will ask you about it while preparing for the wedding. You might think about it and perhaps decide against it at first. But you would be surprised by how much you don’t consciously take in on the wedding day itself – and how precious it is to be able to experience all of it again later. Over and over.

We had our elopement wedding in Verbier, Switzerland, in July, and Salome did an incredible job. She has an amazing ability to create a relaxed atmosphere and capture our most genuine and natural moments. Where do you even begin with Salome?
First of all, for anyone who is still searching: just do it. Hire her immediately. Stop thinking, stop looking – BOOK HER. :) You will never regret it and she is worth every cent.
First and foremost, Salome is simply a wonderful person who radiates warmth from the inside out. She is always authentic and has this incredible ability to make you feel supported, understood and, most importantly, truly heard.
A wedding or a photo shoot can feel exciting, overwhelming and simply like a lot is happening at once. And in the end, of course you want everything to be beautiful – beautiful for yourselves, beautiful for everyone else and perhaps also a little like the wedding you’ve been dreaming about and saving on Pinterest. ;)
What meant so much to me was how carefully Salome listened during our conversations and how well she understood exactly what we had in mind. She remembered poses from our inspiration photos, kept track of all our shot lists and genuinely tried to bring every wish to life as closely as the locations and lighting conditions allowed.
Especially as a woman and a bride, feeling so genuinely taken seriously and listened to was incredibly special. Whatever wish or idea I had, the response was always: “Of course, let’s see how we can make it happen!” Never: “That’s too much” or “That won’t work.” In fact, she often managed to turn our ideas into something even better than we had imagined.
We’ve already had the chance to work with Salome on two occasions: our summer engagement shoot outdoors and our wedding weekend in Munich, where she accompanied us with photography and some videography over two winter days.
We were already so incredibly happy with the first set of photos that there was never really any question who we wanted for our wedding. It simply had to be Salome. :)
As so many others have said, the chemistry was there immediately and we felt completely understood and taken care of. Salome has a way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She makes you laugh, and that’s how genuinely beautiful images happen.
Her work is absolutely wonderful – I think the films and photos on her website and Instagram speak for themselves.
But what mattered most to us was the incredible sense of trust. We knew we could rely on Salome to look out for us, notice all those beautiful moments and preserve them forever while our own minds were already overflowing with emotions and a thousand thoughts.

Hiring Salome turned out to be an absolute stroke of luck for our wedding.

Apart from marrying Lukas, one of the best decisions I made was surprising my husband by having Salome capture our wedding day.

We were one of those couples who initially thought photographs would be enough to remember our wedding.
After a lot of consideration, research and a recommendation from our photographer, we eventually discovered Salome.
We immediately fell in love with the way she captures weddings and creates true little masterpieces. From our very first meeting, you could feel how much joy and passion she has for what she does.

When we started planning our wedding, I discovered Salome on Instagram and immediately fell in love with her work.
My husband agreed rather reluctantly at first because, in his words, “We’re already having photos – do we really need a video as well?”

At some point during the planning process, we started wondering whether we wanted to preserve this once-in-a-lifetime day on film as well.
My husband was unsure at first and couldn’t really imagine having a videographer there.
After a fairly quick Google search, we discovered Salome’s website and I immediately sent her an enquiry telling her our story.
After our very first phone call, I knew I absolutely wanted Salome to film our wedding.
During our first video call together, Salome managed to ease many of my husband’s concerns with her knowledge and warm personality – and from then on, the decision was made.
Communication leading up to the wedding was seamless. Salome has incredible expertise and knows exactly what she’s doing.
And what can we say? Our expectations were more than exceeded.
On our wedding day, Salome wasn’t only an incredible professional to have there – she was also such a wonderful person to have around.
She has such a warm, calm and caring nature and always knows exactly what to do. So often, we didn’t even notice she was filming.
Our guests absolutely loved her too. One of our friends even recommended her to another couple almost immediately after the wedding.
We couldn’t imagine our day without her.
When we received the sneak peek a few weeks later, we already had an idea of how beautiful the final film would be.
But when Salome eventually told us that our wedding film was ready, we still couldn’t believe how beautifully she had woven all those details and emotional moments into the finished film.
We were completely swept away. It almost felt as though we were living the day all over again.
We cried with joy, laughed again at all the funny moments and, above all, felt all of that intense emotion and love again – the same love we and our guests had felt throughout the day.
We also chose to add the full ceremony and additional footage, and we can wholeheartedly recommend both to every couple. That way, you have your beautifully crafted wedding film as well as so many additional moments that you can return to whenever you want.
Every guest we have shown the film to has been blown away and completely agrees with everything we’ve written here. And one piece of advice from our own experience: you won’t regret it for a second.
A film is simply something completely different from looking through photographs of your wedding.
For us, it was an investment worth making because we know we’ll have this for the rest of our lives and will watch it again and again – especially on our anniversaries.

We booked her for our wedding in October 2022 and it was the best decision we could have made.
After a long search for the right videographer, we discovered Salome and immediately fell in love with her films. We couldn’t find anyone else creating films with this much emotion, so the decision was made pretty quickly.
Salome is incredibly warm and easy to be around, and you immediately feel comfortable with her. That made it surprisingly easy to sit down for an interview with her in the morning and have her accompany us throughout the entire day.
She gave exactly the right amount of direction to create a beautiful shot while still allowing everything to feel completely natural. We both felt so comfortable and nothing ever felt staged or artificial. Salome also blended perfectly into our wedding party – so well, in fact, that some guests didn’t even realise we had a videographer there. ;)
And the final result is absolutely magical! Every detail feels right, the sequences are perfectly edited to the music, and she captured so many little things we hadn’t even noticed ourselves. We completely fell in love with Salome’s work on Instagram. From our very first conversation, there was an immediate connection and we knew we wanted her to be our shadow on the wedding day.
No matter what might go wrong, we knew she would somehow capture the most beautiful memories for us.
